Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, aka Thor and Loki, visit Australian children’s hospital
Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston have played the Norse gods Thor and Loki respectively in a number of films set in the Marvel Comics universe. They have just wrapped on their latest movie together, “Thor: Ragnarok” due to open in November 2017. The two actors took some time off to be real-life superheroes by paying a visit to the young patients at the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.
Hemsworth and Hiddleston stayed for a while to chat with the child patients about the upcoming movie and to show them what they were like in real life. Hemsworth brought with him a prop of Thor’s hammer, which according to legend only the God of Thunder can pick up and wield. But some of the kids looked as if they had little trouble handling and playing with the prop.
“Thor: Ragnarok” has been filming in Brisbane, which had been cast in the role of New York City for the movie. The plot for the movie has not been revealed, but among the cast are Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Cate Blanchett as Hela, and Mark Ruffalo as the Incredible Hulk.
The Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane has proven to be a magnet for celebrities seeking to cheer up the child patients, with Taylor Swift and Johnny Depp having also paid a visit,
