Originally listed in 2013 for $72 million, the 10,000-square-foot, five-bedroom main house, set on more than five acres of oceanfront land, Dion’s compound is now priced at $38.5 million.
The centerpiece of the impressive property is the expansive 500,000-gallon water park, which includes a slow-current lazy river, two pools, and a separate poolside beach, Top Ten Real Estate Deals reports. Also part of the aquatic attraction is a tall, winding waterslide with ocean panoramas.
Dion is currently fulfilling a concert residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, which has been extended to 2019. Joseph Montanaro of Sotheby’s International Realty Quebec told the Wall Street Journal that this Florida residence is “not being used” due to her Vegas show schedule. He also said that he sold her Montreal-area home last year.
“Since the water park/beach complex was originally put on the market in 2013 with no takers, it has gone through a number of price cuts from $72.5 million to $62.5 million to $45.5 million,” according to Top Ten Real Estate deals.
